Korean Movie Marathon

I watched another three korean movies today. They are: My Little Bride, The Art of Seduction , and Innocent Steps. All the three movies are romantic ones.

My Little Bride:

My Little Bride Trailer

The story evolves around a 24 year-old boy (Kim Rae-Won) and a 16 year-old girl (Moon Geun-Young) who are tricked into marrying each other by their manipulative parents despite the fact that they consider each other to be like siblings. But after they exchange vows, and she has an affair with an a baseball hunk from her school, he realizes he does in fact love her and must try to win back her heart. A funny but yet lovable movie. Laughter is in the air.

The Art of Seduction

Story is about a private banker, Han Ji-Won (Son Ye-jin) who is as proficient at her job as she is at seducing men. When she meets up with Min-Joon (Song Il-gook), she sees a great opportunity to add yet another name to her long list of conquests, but considering the man’s own talents in the area of romance, it seems that things aren’t going to be quite as easy as Ji-Won expects. The lead actress has a cute and pretty face in this movie. Story line not up to my expectation but still can consider watching.
Rating: 6 out of 10

Innocent Steps:

Good performances from its two lead actors - in particular My Little Bride’s adorable Moon Geun-Young. She’s a cute little girl and a great dancer. Her body flows with the music when she dances during the competition. The actor, Park Geon Hyeong, also dances well. The unexpected part in the film is that it takes a strange dark turn in the final scene, but overall, it should be a charming cinematic experience for people with a soft spot for romances.
Rating: 8 out of 10 (good dance moves)

I’m gonna watch more korean movies when I am free. Had a great time laughing.
