Baseball with Giants
This is my first baseball game ever. I have never watched a full baseball game nor understand the game properly prior to Tuesday match between San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres. Of course I went for San Francisco’s home game rather than San Diego’s. One being one hour away and the other being 8 hours drive away.
I have only been to Singapore’s Kallang stadium so AT&T stadium is way bigger than what I have seen.
I drove down to San Francisco with three other friends. We reached there at around 7pm and had to scout around for parking lots. I managed to find one two blocks away which cost $15. That was expensive but it was still cheaper than another car which was parked at the AT&T car park- $30. We each bought a $10 ticket. The seat is way up the stadium but it allowed us to have an overview of the whole stadium. Here’s the picture to see how high up we were.
The game was definitely worth the money. Four of us stayed throughout the whole game and we saw the turn-a-round of the game. The result was unexpected if you saw the three quarters of the game. Padres managed to turn their luck around. Giants were leading 4-2 almost the entire game only to lose 4-6 to Padres in the last inning. That was a big blow to Giants since they led throughout the whole game. Oh ya, that night was mooncake festival so we had a full moon over head. But it was overshadowed by the stadium spotlights. It was a great game. Looking forward to going for other sports in the US.
