Disastrous Hawaii Trip

I had an uneventful Hawaii trip last week. I thought that it would have been a timely break for me after a full week of total preparation and concentration for the lab visit by doctors to VM. I put in my extra effort making sure that everything runs well which it turned out to be. I thought that the Hawaii trip will be a great time for me to relax and enjoy. It was initially until the very last day of my trip. The car window was smashed and all our belongings were stolen from our car trunk while we were snorkeling. All our valuables were taken. We were robbed in broad daylight! The thieves are merciless. It’s not really the monetary stuff that we are concerned about. It’s the data, the memories, the sentimental stuff that matter here. It’s all gone. Tearless. Felt very sad but there’s nothing we can do. I just hope that the Hawaiian police will do something fast about it.

There’s almost no photos that I can share here, given that my camera was part of the missing lot. My friends’ laptops, cameras and personal belongings were stolen as well. Even our clothes and souvenir that we bought were gone. It was a costly trip, not forgetting that it left us with a deep scar in our heart. We returned back to California in our shorts and t-shirts and wallets, curling ourselves up in the thin blanket on the plane! Hawaii, a paradise turned hell for us. Time to move on and put all those sad things aside. Looking forward for my other trips.
