The BIG Sunday
The day is finally approaching. In less than 24 hours time, I’ll be very dehydrated, have sore legs joints and gasping desperately for air. Not sure how I will survive the whole ordeal- 42.195 km. I was outta my mind when I signed up, and now I will do my best to complete the marathon and get the medal back.
It won’t be easy and one thing I can say for sure is that I will go there and enjoy the magnificent Highway One scenic road. Let’s hope to hear good news from me when I’m back. I’ll be leaving soon with my colleagues who offered to drive us down all the way to Monterey where we’ll be staying overnight there. The marathon will start at 6.45am which means we’ll have to leave pretty early.
Hopefully the determination and perseverance will bring me to the ending point within 6 hours. Wish me luck!
