I’m glad you have co-related your old website with this new one in terms of layout and format. However, I prefer the old format as it is more pleasing and soft as compared to this green one. In the old website, the cream and beige against the white background with a touch of gray and olive green fonts is very elegant. Somehow the neon green (although it’s the trend nowadays) is too distracting and I had to squint my eyes to view your webpage. Either that I had to reduce the brightness on my screen. White, neon green and gray is nice too but the amount of neon green need to be reduced. White, olive green and light cream can be a good alternative. White fonts on neon green background hurts the eyes and too distracting. Whatever it is, you have a good website here. I enjoy it.

Hi mumtaz,
I have actually wanted to change the colour of the theme. Just managed to find out how to modify the colours a while ago. Still not completed yet as there are some areas still in green colour. But thanks for your comments.

Hi Yeehan,
It looks much better now. You might want to maintain the greens on the comments but adjust it slightly to match with the current blue tones. Good job. There is still room for improvement.

Hi maria teresa,
I’ve read your comment on the Princess Hours post. It’s great to know that there are so many of you who like the Princess Hours Korean drama series. Yup, it maybe sad that the drama has come to its conclusion but I’m sure there’ll be more nice dramas coming up in the future. South Korea has been producing very interesting melondrama and I’m quite sure there will be another nice drama in the production line now. Anyway, from reviews, Goong S is not as nice as it would be compared to Princess Hours. I’ve not watched myself but I think I’ll be watching soon after my exams. Meanwhile, you may want to consider watching Fantasy Couple, a comedy Korean drama. You can find my review here: http://www.yeehan.com/2006/12/28/korean-drama-fantasy-couple-2006/
Thanks for you comment again and thanks for supporting my website.

I hv my fair share of watching Korean movies and drama series. I’ve been hooked to this Korean Wave since Winter Sonata. After Winter Sonata, I went to Seoul for 10 days to experience and to get to know the people and the country. Todate, my favorite drama series are Princess Hour, Full House, Beautiful Days and Mr Duke. And my favourite movies so far are The Romantic President and My English Tutor. Don’t quite like April Snow and My Boyfriend is Type B. The never watch ones are the horror flicks. I hate horror movies.

By the way, I forgot to add……..my husband is Type B.

Hi YH,

I like the pic with her wearing the traditional white gown with a beautifully plant crafted crown on her head…. erh… it’s very outdated but… do u so happen to hv one or 2? Thanks… hope this works…

You do have an interesting web site. What got me here was my addiction to korean dramas & movies. I base some of the DVDs I watch/buy on your reviews. Another thing catching about your site is your travels. I’ve been to some of those places. Last March we went to Beijing, Xi’an & Shanghai. We stayed at the Bund side of the river and didn’t get a chance to go up the Orient Pearl tower although our rooms had a nice view of it. This March we’ll see the Eiffel tower. It’s so weird looking at some of your pictures because we have family photos with the same background.
If you have the chance pls visit Yellowstone National Park and stay for a night at the Old Faithful Inn. It’s quite an experience. Usually you’ll need to reserve months in advance but sometimes if you call a day or two before they might have a room available for 1 night. That’s what we did.
My family lives about an hour from Seattle. We’d love to meet you when you’re in the area. My husband & I have 2 teenage kids and maybe you can inspire them to do even a little bit of what you’ve accomplished. If you need a tour guide we’ll be more than happy to show you around. I’m sure you would want to visit the University of Washington. Do you have friends there?
I wonder how much Singapore has changed. I visited about 20 yrs ago. All I remember is how clean it was and how nice the shopowners were. I also remember the food. It was the first time I tasted noodles that was very spicy & sweet. I crossed a bridge to Malaysia just to get a stamp on my passport.
Keep up the great job on your website.
